Using WaveTag Pro

No. WaveTag Pro edits metadata without altering the audio content. However, because metadata is written directly into the files, we strongly recommend working on verified copies of your original recordings.
Yes. WaveTag Pro is designed for professional WAV and Broadcast Wave workflows, including multitrack Poly-WAV files. Other audio formats such as MP3, AAC and other common media formats can also be opened and played in WaveTag Pro, but their metadata cannot be edited.
Yes. Metadata operations do not require converting the audio format.
WaveTag Pro provides access to professional WAV/BWF metadata including BEXT, iXML, Scene, Take, Notes, track information, markers/cue points and other supported metadata contained in the file. It can also correct the frame rate and timecode directly within your audio files.
Yes. WaveTag Pro can generate professional sound reports from the metadata contained in your files.
Trial & Licensing
Your trial may have expired, or WaveTag Pro may not currently have a valid license. After the trial expires, WaveTag Pro switches to Read-Only mode rather than preventing access to your files.
WaveTag Pro switches to Read-Only mode. You can continue to inspect your files, but editing features require a license.
A WaveTag Pro license can be activated on up to two Macs at the same time. You can deactivate one Mac and activate another whenever you need to move your license.
Deactivate WaveTag Pro on one of your currently activated Macs, then activate it on the new Mac using the same license key.
No. WaveTag Pro can continue to operate offline after activation. An Internet connection is occasionally required to validate the license.
WaveTag Pro includes an offline grace period, so a temporary Internet or licensing-server outage won't suddenly prevent you from working.
Your license key is provided after purchasing WaveTag Pro. Keep it somewhere safe, as you will need it when activating the application on a Mac.
Privacy
No. WaveTag Pro does not need to track your audio workflow or the contents of your recordings.
